Markham City Clerk certifies 2025 Markham Ward 7 By-Election results

Markham's City Clerk has certified the results of the 2025 Markham Ward 7 By-Election, declaring Nimisha Patel as the elected Ward 7 Councillor.

A total of 8,183 ballots were cast in the by-election.

The official declaration of the results indicating the total number of votes for each candidate received is available at ElectionsMarkham.ca/Results. The number of votes cast during early voting days and on final voting day are also available.

Additional information on voter turnout will be posted in the coming weeks after Elections Markham has processed voters' list revisions made during voting days.
